B-ACD Tips and Explanation
All -
For those of you confused by B-ACD, you’re not alone. Cisco’s documentation is pretty poor in some areas and the BACD param commands are not listed within the IOS. In spite of those surmountable issues, I want to make it simple and share some information with you that could prove helpful.
Tip 1: A 90% working B-ACD configuration is available in Cisco’s documentation. Simply put, you can score easy points on this potential lab topic by copying into Notepad, making a few edits, and then pasting.

Tip 2: Changing the B-ACD information is a bit confusing if you’re not used to the param statements. In the PDF example I attached below, I setup two B-ACD numbers. One B-ACD application will give me the 0 (operator) option to x3006 and 2 option to queue to a hunt group at x3210. The second B-ACD application will provide a direct pass-through into a queue for the same hunt group.
The PDF documents will help you see what options you will need to edit before pasting this into your router. One thing to always verify is the location and file/version name of your TCL scripts. You can verify this using “show flash | i .tcl”.
Happy labbing!

CCIE Voice Lab Exam v3.0 Topics
The blueprint is a detailed outline of the topics likely to appear on the lab exam. This blueprint introduces pre-configurations of basic tasks (such as phone registration, basic application integration, basic dial plan, etc.), in order to devote additional focus on expert level skills (advanced configuration and troubleshooting) assessments. As usual, knowledge of troubleshooting is an important skill and candidates are expected to diagnose and solve issues as part of the CCIE lab exam. The topics listed are guidelines and other relevant or related topics may also appear.
